Day 28
If only the mind had simple thoughts
Then life wouldn’t be in a troublesome state of affairs.
The greed and desires are many
They never seem to come to an end.
Utter helplessness leads to a fear
Of being consumed
by yet another cloud of dark sadness.

Drive away the madness
To dispel the sadness.
The plights are not purely your own.
So, turn off the media and ignore the “smartphone.”
When you say “never-ending,”
You merely fortify those pretending
To be important in your life
While sipping daily doses of toxic strife.
