What’s with the Rain

Day 16

The nights are cold

Then it starts to pour

Hailstones drop to delight

While the winds howl and cry.

The trees vehemently oscillate

The mud looks like marmalade

Birds, animals get in their shelters to hide

Seems like the rain will bring the world down tonight.

  1. Yeah, cuz hail is a delight. I delight the thought of being pelted to death versus being struck by a gentle…even a torrential downpour sounds more inviting than a hailstorm.

Rain is cathartic, healing and sometimes romantically stimulating. …when it doesn’t flood.

Sorry. I have no poetry for this one. 😛
