Day 94
There was sickness in the air.
Clouded mind,
teary eyes,
runny nose.
Sniffing hard,
I let out a deep sigh.
Snuggled into the sheets
and went back to sleep.
“And, there goes my weekend!”

Day 94
There was sickness in the air.

Day 92
A friend spews poison.
A loved one shows hostility.
Another blocks me.
Someone ignores me.
And you roll your eyes at me.
Why the cold heartedness?
Why so unkind and bitter?
I often try to understand humans..
No matter the love and care,
It never seems to be enough.
Day 91
You asked me to tell you my story,
Were you truly eager to know me?
When you looked into my eyes,
what did you find?
When you held my hand,
did you promise to stand by my side?
You sought for ‘your’ happiness,
never mine.
And, then you blame me for being a disappointment.
Day 88
Did you watch me – watching you?
She let her eyes linger on him.
There was a silence in the air
Only a sweet hum of a bird
Winds rustled the fallen leaves
They walked past each other
With heads held down.
Day 84
There’s a fear, some constant kind of worry.
Where do I begin?
What do I put my finger on,
To understand what’s bothering me.
To start off with – there’s uncertainty.
Towards where do I guide my life’s story?
All along is but a hazy endless path.
Then there’s overthinking about life.
The purpose and plan –
To make it worthwhile.
But nothing ever seems to be right.
Same old question begins to rise,
What’s the goddamn meaning of life?
Day 83
An unworldly soul
Has been abruptly discarded
From her roots.
All the while,
She was under the shadow
Of her protectors.
Now, she is all by herself.
Lost and abandoned.
She reaches out for her roots
To seek support.
Alas, they seem to have forgotten her.
Day 78
I wish the world becomes a better place to live.
No misery, treachery or guilt.
All I wish for is –
Happiness, harmony and peace.
Each of us spread love, bring smiles
and care of the betterment of the other.
We need to be better humans with every passing day.
Is it fair for me to still hope this way?
Day 70
Pink bougainvillea leaves
Shedding their prettiness,
On deserted streets.
Day 68
Ghastly dark clouded sky,
Is this a warning, asking us to hide?
Lightning has begun to strike,
You are soon going to pour down
With all your might.
I fear what’s coming on tonight.
Show mercy, cause no havoc this time.

Day 67
I miss you,
When I look at the radiant full moon,
I miss you,
When I turn around and not find you by my side.
I miss you,
Thinking of the jokes you cracked to make me laugh.
I miss you,
Upon learning how easy you make my life.
I miss you,
in the emptiness of my room.
I miss you,
Every time I close my eyes.
The tears never seem to dry,
Come back soon the love of my life.
