The curiosity never seems to end
The greed only begins to increase
Never will there come a time
Until we are wholly satisfied
So why the guilt?

Driving Away
Day 76
When long stretches of empty roads begin to unwind
You secretly wish the journey never comes to an end.
All that surrounds are lush green trees,
Under the overcast skies.
Colourful bougainvillea leaves,
a book and a friend for company.
To Work or Not to Work?
Day 75
Longing for long days of freedom
Or has slavery turned into a habit?
What has become of the human mind?
Puzzled and confused with its own desires.
Soul of a Dragon
Day 74
Long and lonely she stood
Waiting for the storm to pass.
Many dreadful, angry faces crossed her.
Not one friendly, helpful smile.
“Just a little while longer.”
She said to herself.
Soon came the time,
With a shrug of her shoulders
and a quick sudden pull,
She tore off the shackles,
Unfurling her dragon wings full.
A deep breath later, she took flight,
Leaving behind humanity and all of it’s supposed might.

What is the cause of your misery?
What has been pulling you down?
He asked with much curiosity.
All the while she looked down
With a vacant wide-eyed gaze.
She answered –
Lemon berry cheesecake trifles,
Mushy chocolate salted caramel macarons.

A longing to go back
To a place where I belong
Take me along
I’m a frivolous worrisome bee.
Deep in Slumber
Day 71
A dreamy drowsy state of affairs
i float blissfully with glee
Escape into a world of peaceful happiness
Drift away deep into sleep.
Pink Trees
Day 70
Pink bougainvillea leaves
Shedding their prettiness,
On deserted streets.
Why Do I Fear
Day 69
Fear, dear lord the fear!
Overtaking my senses.
Consuming my saneness.
How do I overcome it?
How do I remain calm?
Teach me to stop stressing,
And quit overthinking.
With deep breaths of air,
I try exhaling out my dark fears
What is the cause of this weakness?
When I have been brave before.
Guess only I can save myself,
From these unreasonable
Bouts of fear.
A Storm’s Coming
Day 68
Ghastly dark clouded sky,
Is this a warning, asking us to hide?
Lightning has begun to strike,
You are soon going to pour down
With all your might.
I fear what’s coming on tonight.
Show mercy, cause no havoc this time.
