Hello Rain

Day 34

Here you come again.

Hanging out on my window pane.

You give me chills when I step out in the open air.

You cause commotion on the lanes,

With puddles of muddy water here and there.

Yet, every time I see you,

I fall in love a little more with you again.

A Drifting Leaf

Day 31

Drifting in the air

A dried leaf

Sometimes lying on the ground.

Flying with the blowing wind.

Floating away

With no direction.

Wind, water, soil or rain

It settles wherever

Doesn’t complain

Glad about the change.

Summers

Day 6

The summer is here

Bright sunny days

Hot rising air.

Time to put the

Sunglasses and sun caps on.

Get into those

Floral printed dresses

Colourful shorts.

Sip on some

Margaritas and cold coffees.

Sound of Rain

The sound of rain through my window pane

So loud on the grayish white frame.

Drops splatter on the muddy plain

Winds howl and embrace the rain.

The pitter-pattering drops on lakes and leaves.

Gentle rumble of clouds with a crackling blaze

Thunder, wind and rain play their lightning game.

Immersing in its overwhelming power and busy affair

A slight tug on my insides

A temptation, a drawing, a lordly call of the rain.

Here’s comes the season of rain once again.
