You have endured pain.
Quietly. You did not share.
Your eyes said it all
But you remained strong
Counting days, each day was a new kind of pain
It started eating you up
And you still did not give up.
You smiled at me
Held my hand
We watched, we were helpless
But we cared.
If only we could take all your pain away.
And now you’re gone.
Your cancer is cured today.
If only I could see you one last time.
Rest in peace dear father.
I will always miss you and love you.
