Day 94
There was sickness in the air.
Clouded mind,
teary eyes,
runny nose.
Sniffing hard,
I let out a deep sigh.
Snuggled into the sheets
and went back to sleep.
“And, there goes my weekend!”

Day 94
There was sickness in the air.
Clouded mind,
teary eyes,
runny nose.
Sniffing hard,
I let out a deep sigh.
Snuggled into the sheets
and went back to sleep.
“And, there goes my weekend!”
Day 93
I dream about you, yet again
You sat beside me – once again
You looked my way and turned away
I pursed my lips and dared to stare
Then you looked again and smiled at me
I melted at your sight
And woke up in a daze.
Day 92
A friend spews poison.
A loved one shows hostility.
Another blocks me.
Someone ignores me.
And you roll your eyes at me.
Why the cold heartedness?
Why so unkind and bitter?
I often try to understand humans..
No matter the love and care,
It never seems to be enough.
Day 91
You asked me to tell you my story,
Were you truly eager to know me?
When you looked into my eyes,
what did you find?
When you held my hand,
did you promise to stand by my side?
You sought for ‘your’ happiness,
never mine.
And, then you blame me for being a disappointment.
Day 90
It’s all foggy as a dream.
Tall naked trees
As far as the eyes can see.
Autumn leaves, below the feet
Warm, cool breeze touches the cheeks.
The sky is a clouded blanket of greyness
It’s only you and the forest serene.
Breathe deep to inhale the misty breeze
Walk into the paradise of your dreams.
Day 89
She curled up on her bed,
Lay there with her eyes closed.
A million thoughts raced across her mind.
She lived through each one of them
for brief seconds of time.
The only memory,
that lingered longer than the others was,
The picture of Batman’s car.
How did it get there?
Pretty smooth parking, uh!

Day 88
Did you watch me – watching you?
She let her eyes linger on him.
There was a silence in the air
Only a sweet hum of a bird
Winds rustled the fallen leaves
They walked past each other
With heads held down.
Day 87
A mystic girl in the wild
With a desire for a miracle
Set out with a smile.
Her dreams were petty
She did not wish for more
Only a happy world
Amidst the beauty of nature
With a few friendly loving souls
and no greed for more.
Day 86
The days pass like a drifting leaf..
The time keeps leaving me behind.
With an upraised arm I run after,
Presuming it would wait.
When the realisation dawns on what is lost,
I scowl and settle on a plan of action,
To not fritter my time away.
But then again,
A confused, lazy thought perches
On my rational brain.
It longs for an aimless, uneventful day.
And so, I let my mind wander away.
Ah, so easy it is to do nothing but stare.
While my unread books,
Unfinished work,
Unanswered mails,
And gym awaits.
Day 85
Who ever says,
Giving birth is a wonderful feeling
Is lying.
You are fooled into believing
About it being a beautiful feeling.
It is but only a responsibility,
It is hard work,
It is expectations and emotional distress.
Stop following the herd.
Stop populating the world
That is already over-populated.
Open your eyes India look around,
You are feeding those innocent mouths
By stealing,
By becoming inhuman
With greed
With a selfish hope
That they will be your only support
When you are old.
