Her powdered cheeks
A gush of wind
Caused her to sneeze.
War Scene
On a bloodied war field
A breeze of sand buries
The deserted bodies.
A Scream
Silence of the night
Was broken by a
Shrill distant scream.
Eternal Love
In her tranquil gaze
Her warm embrace
Lies his eternity.
Gathering Pieces
Her family was broken
She gathered pieces
Every single day
& put them together.
They would fall apart
Every single day.
With tears dropping from her eyes
She gathered the pieces
All over again.
With a single hope,
That some day
They realise through her
That no matter how difficult life gets
You need to keep aside your weakness
Put on a brave face
& keep your loved ones content.
Rhythm
Her body like a wave
Danced to the rhythm
Of his heartbeat.
Handwritten letters
Will always continue
To be romantic.
She found a stem
with a tiny red bud
Fallen on the ground.
She took it home
Placed it in a glass of water.
Next morning,
She sipped her coffee with a smile
A gorgeous full-blown rose was by her side.
