Day 29 Inktober : Patch
They asked her to keep it simple.
Play it safe.
With black and blues
Whites and grays.
To which she obliged.
But sometimes she would get away
To patch up with life
By setting ablaze the town
With her flamboyant gowns.

Day 28 Inktober : Crispy
In the rains or when the weather is cold nothing is as comforting as a plate of hot crispy samosas with a cup of tea to warm the bones.

Day 27 Inktober : Spark
You can’t start a fire
– Bruce Springsteen
You can’t start a fire without a spark
This gun’s for hire
Even if we’re just dancing in the dark.

Day 22 Inktober : Open
Open the door and let some fresh breeze in.

Day 20 Inktober : Sprout
Had no clue about this vegetable, Brussels sprouts, until I moved to the US. I call them mini cabbages and they’re super tasty when baked in the oven drizzled with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mmm.. mouth watering already, guess what’s for dinner!

Day 19 Inktober : Loop
Dragons are so infinitely magical that fantasy lands without them are not fantastic at all. It’s exhilarating to fall into an imaginative infinite loop where creativity has no limits.

Day 18 Inktober : Moon
She used the moon as her boat to sail through the darkness of the Milky Way.

Day 16 Inktober : Compass
I found this drawing on Pinterest and was so attracted by it that I attempted to draw the same for the sixteenth day of Inktober. Even though not as good as the real image, I had fun sketching this one.
Link to original drawing and the blog is pretty amazing too: Shihori Obata

Day 15 Inktober : Helmet
There are some things which are impossible to do but our imagination is limitless.
Quoting what a friend told me after looking at this drawing, “The first of them returned as promised and sat down to tell the story of evolution.” *.*

Day 12 Inktober : Stuck
When he was a kid he was never allowed to play in snow. After many many years when it started to snow he hopped, skipped and jumped in excitement. He wanted to know what it feels like to eat some snow. So he walked on the streets with his mouth wide open. In a frenzy when he came across a pole which read taste of winter, like a fool he licked it and got his tongue stuck on the pole. He froze for a second, unable to move, the chills ran deep inside his body but when he got his tongue moving he laughed out loud and decided to do it once again.
