A window looking out to
a white cherry blossom tree
With a steaming cup of hot coffee
On the window sill.
A writing desk by the window
Stacked with books.
Sheer curtains on the edges,
Moving gently with the wind.

There’s a Story Behind Every Door.

A rustic wooden door,
An old forgotten home with broken walls and bricks,
Dried lifeless plants turned crispy and brown in broken pots.
Does anyone live inside?
It looks like it,
There’s a broomstick outside.
Probably, an old woman?
Probably, a family with too many mouths to feed?
Probably, a man who waited too long for his loved one to drop by?
Probably, a recluse content within himself?
Who knows..
What is the story,
Behind this mysterious attractive door.

It doesn’t matter if the night is dark
When there are vintage lanterns,
To light up the streets.
Snailed It

Day 31 Inktober – Crawl
Crawling through 2020,
Inktober drawings saved each day,
And I guess I snailed it.
*End of Inktober 2020*
Black Raven

Day 30 Inktober – Ominous
It was a full moon night,
A black raven was in sight,
Was that a howling cry?
Something ominous seems to arise.
Walking with You

On slippery slopes,
On rocky uneven terrain,
On snow piled grounds,
On long roads ahead,
You‘be been a saviour and companion.
Thank you for making my walks easy and comfortable,
Dear trek shoes!
Take Me to Venice

Day 28 Inktober – Float
Not sure about riding in one, but one can spend hours watching the Venetian gondolas glide gracefully and romantically over the waters, under the bridges, and along the canals with baskets filled with colourful flowers. ❤️
In Need of Music

Day 27 Inktober – Music
Put on headphones, turn up the volume and listen to whatever floats your boat.
Be it rock, instrumental, dance, hip-hop, jazz, country, or Bollywood. We all need music in our lives to remain sane.
Hide Behind Books

Day 26 Inktober – Hide
Cozy up under warm sheets with a hot cup of tea and lose yourself in a favourite book of choice.
Always love hiding behind books.
Sharing Life

Day 25 Inktober – Buddy
He held her hand and showed her the world through his eyes.
She looked up to him and followed him around.
Sometimes he wouldn’t share his things and make her feel sad.
But he would make up to it by taking her on a bicycle ride.
Together they spent hours building with Lego blocks and playing pranks.
Together they laugh, they play games, they fight, they share stories, and their lives.
Her first buddy – her brother, because friendships always start at home.
